Andhome is inspired by the idea of an "object" as an extension of a person, and the potential to connect these "objects" via the internet. This connection of "object to object", "person to object", and "person to person" forms the basis of an intelligent home that can look after children, care for the elderly, provide content and services, and solve a myriad of family-related problems.

What sets Andhome apart is its ability to connect devices, people, and other contents to provide digihome services. If one imagines the home as a vast intelligent robot, then the connected sensing devices become its sensory systems. Smart devices make up its action system, and functions like "intelligent linkage" form its decision-making system. For instance, in the event of a gas leak, the system can automatically turn the valve off.

The realization of Andhome involved meticulous research and design processes. The UX and UI were designed in Axure and Sketch, respectively, before being handed over to the development team. To meet complex requirements and user experience, Andhome was developed as a hybrid app. The mobile version serves as the core touch point for users, with a multi-person interactive experience added on the TV platform.

Andhome's design was driven by user experience. A detailed user experience map was created to guide the design, linking together scenes like no devices, adding devices, device using, automation, and more. The result is a simple operating system that reduces learning costs and delivers an optimal user experience.

Despite the challenges of developing a system that successfully connects more than 400 smart devices and provides scenarized domestic services for over 60 million users, Andhome has emerged as a leading solution in smart home technology. Its innovative design and functionality have earned it the prestigious Silver A' Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design Award in 2019.
